A man who was on parole when he was caught driving while disqualified said he was in Orange to visit his sister.

Police saw Sam Hogan Vincent, 26, of Wilson Street, Bourke, driving on Goorawin Road at 9.15am on October 17, 2019.
However, Vincent pulled into a driveway in Goorawin Road, jumped out of the car and ran to the front of a house.
Hogan left the driver's door open when he ran onto the front verandah of the house.
Police caught up to him and asked him for identification but he said, "I got no ID on me, I was just coming to see my mate".
According to police Vincent had a lengthy criminal record with 38 prior charges including multiple charges for driving offences.
At the time of the driving while disqualified offence Vincent's driver's license had been disqualified from December 11, 2015, to December 11, 2019.
Vincent wasn't present in Orange Local Court on Monday where he was fined $550 and his driver's licence was disqualified for 12 months.
