A storm warning has been issued for much of the state on Sunday, with Orange expected to receive up to 40 millimetres of rain as a result.

The downpour is expected to hit on Sunday evening, with weatherzone.com reporting a near 100 per cent chance of rain, with recordings anywhere between 20mm and 40mm predicted.
There's also a large chance of a storm, with the a trough combining with a cold front slowly progresses east across NSW.
Thunderstorms could become severe and produce heavy rain, hail and damaging winds.
The warning is mainly for central NSW, but due to the complexity of the system strong, severe outbreaks are still a real chance on the edge of the red zone.
Early on Sunday, a broad low pressure trough brought welcome rain to western and southern parts the state.
Bourke recorded 28mm and Cobar 22mm. Wagga Wagga picked up the highest total in the the Riverina with 25mm, their highest one-day total since May.
