The Suzuki Swift was stolen from an address in Orange and was found alight in South Terrace a short time later, with police and firefighters called.
The park became a hotbed for firebugs during the city's spree of burned-out cars over the summer months, with some 20 or 30 vehicles being set alight in the location across six months.
Central West Police District chief inspector Peter Atkins said officers were called to the scene at South Terrace just before midnight on Thursday to find the vehicle ablaze.

Fire and Rescue NSW were also called to the scene and extinguished the blaze quickly.
Earlier this year and in late 2018, the city was hit by a string of car fires where nearly 100 cars were burned in 12 months.
Chief inspector Atkins said investigations were under way and urged anyone with information to come forward and contact Orange police on 6363 6399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
