The party was in full swing as the Silver City Stiletto rolled into Orange's East Fork station on Thursday bound for this weekend's Broken Heel Festival.

Drag queens Maude Boate, Wigl'it and Kita Mean rocked off the train onto the tiny platform with a shriek and a flamboyant wave.
They were keen to glam it up as revellers stepped off the train for a break.
Drag queen Maude Boate is a 'Glambassador' for the festival at Broken Hill, which celebrates the town's role in the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

She said it was going from strength to strength as more people attended.
"It's getting bigger and bigger. It is an amazing stimulus to the local economy. At least we can bring some money into these towns of Australia," she said.
She said that after five years the festival was also helping the entertainers.
"I love how drag has blossomed into this thing, especially after the marriage equality [law change]. Now we have acceptance we can really be the people and the glamorous beings that we really are," she said.
