Workers were busy on the GP level on Tuesday, which will have capacity for 40 GPs.
It is an increase on the 34 GPs at The Gardens in Albury, which the concept was based on.
The private hospital will provide 35 ward rooms, an increase on The Gardens' 17.
Zauner Construction director Garry Zauner said the hospital would also feature a private garden for specialists to confer with their colleagues, meet patients over coffee or have some time out, in addition to the public garden on the rooftop.
They spend so long in their medical training, they deserve quality infrastructure and collaboration between medical professionals is really important.

"I wish we had this at The Gardens," he said.
"They spend so long in their medical training, they deserve quality infrastructure and collaboration between medical professionals is really important."
The specialist floor, which will cater for 30 specialists, is about to start fitout.
"The suites are pretty generous in their dimensions, it's about twice the size of an average suite," Mr Zauner said.
He said expanding the private hospital from one floor to two meant the original four theatres proposed had been boosted to six with room for a seventh.
The centre has received approval to increase the size of the ground floor cafe from 50 square metres to 200 and build a 82-room medi-motel, the Remington, which will include a restaurant and 120-seat conference facility.
Mr Zauner said the pharmacy, to be a Terry White, would be the largest in Orange and would be a compounding pharmacy, meaning it would be able to make medicines.
"It means you don't have the shelf life problems or have to go to Sydney for certain medications," he said.
He said crews were still working to a November deadline, while construction on the medi-motel could start by the end of the year.
The operator is expected to be announced later this month.
