Daffodil Day is August 23, with the yellow flowers and pins available at Orange City Centre, Ex-Services Club, Orange Health Service, Orange Central Square, Summer Centre, North Orange and Post Office Lane.
For the first time, EFTPOS devices will be at each site to ensure people don't need cash to donate, and some sites will have merchandise beyond the flowers and pins.
Bree Kelly, Community Relations Coordinator for Cancer Council's Orange communities, said that funds raised through the Daffodil Day Appeal will go towards funding cancer research to find the next breakthrough in treatment.
"By supporting the Daffodil Day Appeal, you will help us invest in cutting-edge, life-saving research to give Australians hope for a cancer free future," Ms Kelly said.
