The children, who are between the ages of 10 and 13-years-old, travelled from their homes north of Shanghai on Saturday.
The Jiangu Su Primary School students spent the week billeting with families who have children at Orange Public and attended classes with the students during the day.
Principal Brad Tom said the Chinese students had been surprised at how much free time students in Australia had to play games, which make up part of the Orange student's learning.
He said they had also remarked on the difference in school hours and the size of the school.
The students school in China has more than 2000 students and the bell rings at 7am and 4pm.
"They commented they feel Australian children are very lucky," he said.
The group attended a dinner with their families in Orange on Friday night.
