Mr Nock said they had already received bookings including for visitors from Sydney for this weekend's Orange Winter Fire Festival.
"We're happy with the way things have started," he said.
Mr Nock said the hotel, which was a residence when the Nock family bought it in 2014, had also received bookings for Orange's other key wine and food festivals.
He said residents with a 2800 postcode could also stay there in August with a 10 per cent discount to say "thank you" to Orange.
The rooms cost $320-$460 a night including a cooked breakfast.
