More than 30 events will celebrate the Aussie tradition of sharing a meal and a yarn around the campfire, with winter-warming parties across three days.
With much to choose from and many selling out, here's five you can still get behind.
1. Feast on food around the fire on Friday (for free!)
The good people at Philip Shaw Wines have invited all out for a family-friendly affair around the camp fire on Friday.
The free Winter Fire Festival event will give attendees the chance to fill up on food cooked over the fire pit alongside Mr Shaw's wines.
There will be tunes out at the Shiralee Road winery from 5-9pm.

2. Take a trip to Millthorpe to dance in the streets
Millthorpe knows how to party and knows how to put on a good market.
When the town combines the two it really heat up, with last year's Winter Fire Festival event attracting more than 1500 people - despite being one of the wettest nights of the year.
This year they're doing it again with food, beer, wine and craft stalls lining Pym Street from 5-8pm.
Muso duo Smith & Jones will put on a show, the shops will stay open late for your perusing pleasure and there will be fireworks from 7pm.

3. Head to the Oriana courtyard for campfire cocktails
If you haven't checked out the new and improved Oriana this could be your chance.
The Woodward Street restaurant will spark up the campfire and invite all for cocktails and a sing-a-long on Saturday.
They'll be putting on fire-inspired nibbles and a few winter beverages to warm your bellies from 6-9pm.
Entry is free and bookings are not required.
4. Enjoy fire and ice and all things nice at the Showgrounds
Three of the regions most loved cider, beer and wine guys are teaming up with our local grocer to put on a party at the Orange Showground on Saturday.
Small Acres Cyder, Badlands Brewery, Orange Mountain Wines and the Agrestic Grocer are hosting an Argentinian asado on Leeds Parade.
Dinner will be smokey soups, meat from the wood-fired grill and fiery desserts.
There'll be live music, fire buckets and ice sculptures from 5.30-10.30pm.
