As part of the Orange Winter Fire Festival, Millthorpe residents have invited all to join them for a street party to kick-off weekend festivities.
Pym Street will be lined with food and beverage stalls to warm visitors bellies, with fireworks over the Millthorpe railway station from 7pm.
Bathurst duo Smith and Jones will provide the soulful tunes to get attendees up and dancing.
Organising committee member Richard Beach said miserable weather failed to deter crowds last year, with 1500 people showing up for the inaugural event.
"It really knocked our socks off, we thought 'hello, this things got some legs'," he said.
Orange residents have the chance to travel to the event by bus, with a departure from the Orange Visitors Centre at 5.30pm and returning to Orange at 8.30pm.
Tickets for the bus are available through Eventbrite.
The Orange Winter Fire Festival will run August 1-4.
Entry to the night markets is a gold coin donation.
