While 20 days recorded rainfall, only two of those days recorded more than 10mm of rain.
The temperatures were within 0.5 degrees of the average, with minumums an average of 1.1 degree and maximums at 11.3 degrees across the month.
The city has recorded nearly 100mm below average rainfall in the first six months of 2019, with 62 days of precipitation resulting in 302.6mm, compared to 394 on average for the same time period on an average year.
The highest temperature for the month was 17.3 degrees on June 6, while we sweltered through a nine degree overnight maximum two nights later.
On the flipside, the city's coldest temperature for the month was -5.2 degrees on June 20, with the next day, June 21, recording our lowest maximum of just 5.2 degrees.
Website weatherzone.com.au's 28-day forecast only lists seven days which predict medium or heavy chance of rainfall during July, signalling the dry spell is likely to continue.
