The Spring Hill, Lucknow and Clifton Grove committees will each receive $25,000 from Orange City Council in the 2019-20 financial year to spend on projects.
Spring Hill resident Kerry Rains said it would be an increase on this year, but would still only allow for new signage at two of the village's entries.
"There are four entries," she said.
But the main project the committee asked for was a footpath from the church, south along Carcoar Street to Spring Hill Public School, which did not qualify for funding this year.

The committee asked for the May 16 minutes to recognise there was no allocation for Spring Hill capital works in the 2018-19 delivery and operational plan "despite requests by community and advice from [the] director that this funding was expected to be included".
Fellow resident Nicole Day said the footpath would have allowed residents with prams to stay off the road when they attended the mothers group at the church.
"There's a rise on the hill, which is a bit of a problem - if you're on the road and a car comes, you have to get off quickly," she said.
Committee chairman and councillor Tony Mileto said he tried to have the item included, but the coming budget would be a tight one.
"It's something we might have to look at next year," he said.
Cr Mileto, who is also part of the Lucknow committee, said feedback from residents there had been positive.
"They said more has happened in the past 12 months than in the past 10 years," he said.
"There's been progress."
Councillors will vote on the budget on Tuesday.
