A 10-year-old and a 15-year-old were at home at the Endsleigh Avenue property on Wednesday when the men entered through a rear door.
The thieves went through the house looking for property of value and made off with a Playstation.
The home invasion was reported to the Central West Police District at around 2pm and officers responded to the call shortly after.
Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said an investigation had been launched into the incident but as of midday Thursday no arrests had been made.
Police are also investigating the armed robbery of a female pizza-delivery driver on Tuesday evening.
The woman, who is in her twenties, was approached by a man who was armed with a pole and demanded money.
The man took off with a small amount of money and the incident was reported to police.
In an unrelated matter, a man and his female passenger became trapped in their vehicle after their car crashed through a fence on Wednesday.
The man in his sixties is believed to have lost control of the car after he suffered a medical episode on Adina Crescent.
Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters from Orange attended the scene, freeing the driver and his passenger from the vehicle at about 3.30pm.
The couple was taken to Orange hospital where they were treated for non-serious injuries.
