"Yeah, I'm pretty uncoordinated," Miss Wightman said. "I have bruises all over my leg from rehearsal."
The TV journalist has been putting in the training hours at United Dance Project, where the team has worked together to choreograph her act.
She said despite her experience in front of the cameras, she's both nervous and excited about the show.
"I don't think I'll ever be ready. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has come up with," Miss Wightman said.

"Expect a few fun props and a lot of surprises," she said.
Miss Wightman's fundraising total sat at around $7000 this week, with more than $6000 raised from a music festival at Nashdale Lane Wines.
She said while she's been one of the lucky few who hasn't been directly affected by cancer, her work puts her in touch with many families whose lives the Cancer Council has touched.
"You see first hand the work they do," Miss Wightman said.
While Miss Wightman has kept her act underwraps from friends, family and Prime7 colleagues, who will all be in the audience, she did reveal people could expect "sneaky guest appearances."
The 12 Orange teams have raised more than $100,000 so far.
Cancer Council's Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer will kick off on Saturday at the Orange Function Centre.
