In particular, well done to Nathan Sutherland and Liz Simpson who finished second in the 10km event. Also special mention to Jai Anlezark who is only 12 years old, who completed the half marathon.
Another beautiful day at the Botanic Gardens last Sunday.
Congratulations to those members backing up from the UTA training run in the Blue Mountains on the previous day.
Well done to Leanne Palmer (25) and Lachlan Duncan (50) on receiving their achievement medals. Well done Julie Hudson who was the handicap winner.
Welcome to the club, Jenny Zhang, Barbara Ross, Nikki Smith, Geoffrey Berkeley who all ran their first runs.
Great to see two of our younger members Tom Hosie and George Hogg running a great 6.4km today. Well done to Tanya Connolly who is extending each week also with a 6.4km - JC will have to start running the 10km distance to keep ahead.
Well done to Simone Fogarty (8.50) who was first home in the 1.6km ahead of Cameron Ross and Gary Taylor - only 99 runs to go Gary.
Stephen Martin ran an impressive 12.27 in the 3.2km not far ahead of Lachie Ross (12.45) and Amber Rich 13.29.
Brad Simmons ran a nice 20.33 to be first in the 4.8km and was not far ahead of Hugh Daintith 21 flat. Special mention to Joel Broadfoot who was third after running 35km in the Blue Mountains the day before.
Karen Neal 31.46 was very consistent on each of the four laps and was just ahead of Scott Bebbington 32.15. John Connolly was next followed by Peter Regan.
Geoffrey Berkely was a clear winner in the 8km with a time of 34.41. David and Alicia Ross where next over the line. Andrew McCauley continues to improve and ran a great 41.17.
Anthony Daintith 41.19 was first home in the 9.6km ahead of the fast finishing Leanne Corcoran 42.50, who managed to get faster somehow on each lap. Well done to Brian, Pam, Kim and Anna who also completed the distance.
What a fantastic Wednesday afternoon with 102 members in attendance. Congratulations to Emily Palmer who was the handicap winner with a time of 18.26 (and a 14 sec PB). Welcome to the club Lucinda Reidy, Max Reidy, Maddex Gosper, Sam Gosper, Fletcher Smith who had their first runs with the club today.
Congratulations to Edward Farquharson who was presented with his 25 run medal and Alicia Ross her 300 run medal.

Tomorrow's run will be at Stagecoach Road with a choice of 2km, 3km, 5km, 8km and 12km.

Well done to the members who competed in the Anzac challenge in Sydney last weekend. John Betts led the challenge finishing first in his age category in the 25km event.
