Team 3 Baker beat Team 6 Bevan with wins for the Baker bros Toby and Scott, Nathan Garton, Albert Cavalli, Troy Seers, Mick Curran, John Hannan and Jarrod Collett outlasted Phil Gould's long lost nephew Darren Wooding in five, while the deceptively-slow Rod Bevan looked gone at 2-nil, but somehow found inspiration to find another level to outlast Scott Burke after two hours on court.
