The Bulls had kicked off their cup renaissance with victories over Condobolin and Eugowra but Todd Barrow and his somewhat depleted Molong outfit faced a much sterned test at Cargo Oval in round four.
Missing a number of players didn't deter the Bulls initially and Andrew Drady scored the derby opener to hand Molong an early 4-0 advantage.
Cargo's response was swift, though, with fullback Dale Jones crossing to lock up the scores before Molong again skipped ahead, this time on the back of a converted four-pointer from Josh Amberge.
From there though, with the Bulls leading 10-4, it was all Cargo.
Tim Trugett, Jones again and Redfern each raced in tries - the right boot of Jake Davis converting two of those - to shoot to a 20-10 lead at the break.
Jones crossed for his third just five minutes into the new half and the tries continued to flow thereafter, Will Redmond, Dylan Phillips and Trugett, his second, all crossing the stripe to rocket Cargo to a 42-10 lead with a quarter of the match still to play.
The Bulls kept fighting though, and Amberge bagged a second try on the back of that effort.
Cargo's Jake Powell scored the final try of the match, late in the piece, to wrap up the 32-point victory for the Blue Heelers, the club's best performance of the season in a game that marked the return of captain-coach Redfern from injury.
Defending champs Trundle remain undefeated following a forfeit from the battling Eugowra Eagles while last year's runners-up, Manildra Rhinos continued their good early season form with an impressive 36-10 win over Grenfell.
In the cup's other first grade game for round four, Peak Hill Roosters demolished Condobolin Rams 70-12 in the western derby, Canowindra had the bye.
Eugowra forfeited both grades on Sunday, handing Trundle a win in league tag as well, defending champions Cargo continue to run hot with a 50- 6 triumph over Molong while Manildra and Grenfell completed a 20-all draw. Canowindra had the bye.
The youth league season kicked off with five sides competing, Cargo trumping Molong 24-12, Grenfell proving too good for premiers Manildra in a 34-20 result and Trundle had the bye.
