The Spring Hill Activities Group formed a year ago, holding a number of car and bike days at the Railway Hotel, along with craft days, discos and a Christmas party for the children of the village.
Their success has paved the way for a Whistle Stop Festival on Saturday, March 30 at the Spring Hill Recreation Ground to celebrate what made the area special.
The festival will feature working heritage displays, kids activities, market stalls, music, food and artists, with the RFS, Spring Hill Public School and church groups involved.
The committee is keen to hear from potential demonstrators or displays in shearing, spinning and weaving, and railway – those interested can email springhillactivitiesgroup@gmail.com or call Terri 0419 258 336 or Beth 0418 248 103.
