Australia Day celebrations will take place at pubs, wineries and clubs across the region on Saturday with many residents starting the weekend off with breakfast at Cook Park:

- 8am-9:30am Community Breakfast Barbecue: $8 per person.
- 8am children’s activities commence.
- 8.20am Performance by Orange Male Voice Choir.
- 8.40am Performance by Canobolas Highland Pipe Band.
- 9am Official Ceremony, welcome to country, flag raising ceremony, Australian national anthem, presentation of CWD colouring-in competition and prizes.
- 9.30am Welcome to Australia Day 2019 – Welcome to Australia Day Ambassador – Official Address by Australia Day Ambassador Catriona Rowntree
- 10am Citizenship Ceremony
- 10.30am Presentation of the NSW Local Citizen of the Year Awards
- 11am Colour City Dance Works – Meet the Ambassador – Busking
- 11.30am East Orange Physical Culture Club – Best Dressed Competition – Australia Day Raffle
- 12pm Performance By City of Orange Brass Band – Busking
- 1pm Closing Remarks
Australia Day ceremonies will take place across the Cabonne Council region on Saturday. Here’s what’s on:
- Borenore Public School: 11am Award Presentation followed by barbecue
- Morris Park, Canowindra: 6pm Award presentation and family picnic
- Village Green, Cargo: 10.30pm Award Presentation followed by band and market
- Cumnock Bowling Club: 8am Breakfast, Awards Presentation
- Eugowra Community and Recreational Bowling Club, 2pm, Award presentations and afternoon tea.
- Manildra War Memorial Swimming Pool: 4pm Sutton family relay, Lions Club barbecue and events
- Molong Recreational Ground: 8.30am Barbecue breakfast and children’s activities
- Mullion Creek Hall: 8am Awards presentation and breakfast
- Yeoval Central School Hall: 6pm Award presentation and buffet dinner.
