The graduation marked the 20th year since the start of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course started at CSU.
Students also graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Education, Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences, and Faculty of Science.
Head of the Orange campus Dr Heather Robinson said this year’s graduation was a reflection on significant achievements from students and staff, from all faculties.
She said among the high achievers was clinical dentistry associate lecturer Dr Jessica Zachar who won first prize of the junior category at the annual meeting of the International Association for Dental Research Australian and New Zealand Division.
Country Education Foundation of Australia chief executive Wendy Cohen, who is an Orange resident and CSU alumni, provided the occasional address.
“It is always a thrill to welcome back alumni to graduations and hear about their achievements over the years, particularly when they have entered back into the regional workforce in order to support local communities,” Dr Robinson said.
