Charlie Tink pummelled his first ton at any level against very young Blue Mountains side, hitting a very solid 113 coming in at number three, while Luke Hunter also hit 46 opening the batting after being sent in.
Dudley Shepherd continued his riveting form with the ball, with the off-spinner picking up another six wickets for 13 runs with his partner-in-crime, leggie Darcy Hamling, picking up 2-4 as they bowled out Lithgow for 39 runs.
The Orange under-12s side recorded a 10-wicket win against an undermanned Blue Mountains side in Katoomba.
Blue Mountains were rolled for just 88 in 30.2 overs on the back of Hugh Griffith picking up 4-16 off 4.2 to clean up the tail, with singles to Harry Greenhalgh, Charlie Miller, Joe Madigan and Tom Blowes and a run-out cleaning up all nine wickets.
Blowes and Oliver Jarick then saw the visitors home, hitting an unbeaten 36 and 42 respectively to hand Orange the win without loss.
However, the under-16 side didn’t have as much luck, with Hugh Rassmussen lending credibility to a total score of 113 with his 35 against Blue Mountains.
However, Jim Hale’s blistering unbeaten 92 spelt the end of any Orange resistance as the hosts won comfortably by nine wickets at Katoomba Falls.
