Caleb Joshua Pholi, 20, of Gardiner Road, faced Orange Local Court charged with failing to leave and intimidating a police officer.
Police were conducting drug operations outside the Hotel Canobolas at 11.30pm on October 13 when Pholi and friends were celebrating his birthday.
When the group left the hotel, they yelled profanities at the officers, prompting one of them to direct the group not to enter another premises for six hours but an hour later, Pholi was spotted inside the Royal Hotel and removed by police.
When he walked off, yelling “f*** off you dog c***s, you’ll f***ing have your day”, he was arrested.
Magistrate David Day noted Pholi’s job as a baker meant he was disciplined but not when it came to drinking, however he took into account his letter of apology to the police officers.
