According to Orange’s seven-day forecast, there between 20-30 per cent chance of less than one millimetre of rain each day until Thursday.
Friday and Saturday aren’t likely to be much wetter, with a 60 per cent likelihood of up to five millimetres in rain gauges.
The next best chance of getting widespread rain, which could be in the form of showers and thunderstorms, is on the weekend.

At the same time, temperatures look like they will spike, with maximums of at least 25 degrees Celsius on the cards from Tuesday.
It’s a similar story elsewhere in the region, according to Brett Dutschke, a senior meteorologist with weatherzone.
“The next best chance of getting widespread rain, which could be in the form of showers and thunderstorms, is on the weekend,” Mr Dutschke said.
“The northernmost areas of the Central West do look like having the best chance of getting thunderstorms, which means Mudgee might get more rain than the Bathurst, Parkes and Forbes areas.
The month’s date indicated Orange had received less than its average rain for October.
As of Sunday afternoon there had been 44.8 millimetres of rain recorded at Orange Regional Airport in October.
The 50-year average for the month is 81.4 miilimetres.
