The school had a host of events planned to mark The Assumption of the Blessed Mary, which celebrates the school’s namesake.
To mark the occasion, students painted what were termed ‘kindness rocks’, which are to be placed in a ‘kindness garden’ on the school grounds.
There was also a school mass in the adjacent church in the morning, as well as visits by family for morning tea, as well as sporting and coding activities.
The day’s events came in the wake of Friday’s fundraiser, where students donned farmers’ clothing and donated money towards the Buy A Bale drought-relief charity.
