The Cowra Men's side's first bounce of the season is at 11am.
The women's side starts its season, also against Dubbo Demons, at 12.30pm.
While first round opponents Parkes could only muster 12 players before forfeiting last weekend numbers aren't a problem for either of the Cowra senior teams.
Men's co-coach Blair Holgate said both teams have in excess of 20 players to call from each week.
Cowra's men's side had 24 players available for last weekend's opening round.
"We're looking good for numbers, even with a couple of midfielders out this week. We've got the numbers to cover them," Holgate said.
Defending the title they won in 2023 the side's numbers this season have been bolstered by a number of new recruits, players returning to the game and making the switch from the rugby codes.
The club has also again attracted players from Young.
Key to the Blues chances this weekend Holgate expects will be new recruit John Terry who should tower over most opposing players at closer to seven foot in height than six.
He is also very athletic for his height.
"Justin (Kelly) at full forward will be key, John Terry will be good in the midfield with Jock (Heinrich) and Frank (Bright)," Holgate said.
"We've also got two good wingers in Caleb Worth and Brad Hyland who is coming back this year.
"We've just got a lot of firepower and speed around the park and the usual strong backline returning from last year."
Up front Justin Kelly is expected to feature among the top goal scorers with Frank Bright adding to his already impressive career tally.
"Plus we've also got Mason Bright kicking two or three goals each game," Holgate said.
In other matches this weekend the Giants and Bushrangers face off in an all Bathurst affair and Parkes are at home to the Orange Tigers.
