Residents weren't prepared for 'relentless ferocity and speed' of inferno

The state coroner has confirmed a bushfire that destroyed homes in Mount Wilson, Mount Tomah, Berambing and Bilpin in December 2019 was caused after a planned RFS backburn jumped Mount Wilson Road, sparking spot fires which quickly spread.
