He was one of many O-Week leaders helping new students check out all the campus and Orange businesses had to offer as part of yesterday’s O- Week markets.
Dozens of groups and businesses set up stalls around the campus to help provide information for students.
“It’s really handy to have all the staff here to see what’s on offer at uni,” Mr Xouris said.
“It’s also a good way to make new friends.”
Businesses that set up stalls gave university students a look into Orange’s retail market.
“It’s a good way of breaking the barriers and knowing what’s in town,” Mr Xouris said.
CSU students Rachael and Natasha Hall were just two students taking advantage of the O-Week markets.
“It’s a good chance to learn about all the resources here,” Rachael said.
The Hall sisters said the day was useful in obtaining practical information for their future years of studying, such as securing student deals with businesses, signing up to social clubs, and understanding the learning resources available.
