The report, Growing and Emerging Healthcare Jobs, identified the top 10 growing jobs aligned with vocational education and training (VET) courses over a three-year period between 2022-23 and forecast for 2025-26.
Administering vaccinations was the most sought-after skill in the year to June 2022.
TAFE NSW services manager Mark Guiney said healthcare was "a really good sector to go into" due to the high demand for skills in areas such as nursing, aged care, and disability care.
That was in line with what you would "imagine with the current flu epidemic and COVID-19, and we're hearing nasty things about monkeypox around the world, [so] people are really in demand for skills in anything around vaccines and vaccinations," Mr Guiney said.
Australia's total death toll from COVID-19 stands at 11,032 since the pandemic began.
