The show was officially opened by CareFlight regional manager Ross Larsen, while Julia Culverson was named Miss Showgirl.
A special flagraising ceremony was also held in honour of Molong Show Society member, the late Norm Bloomfield.
Attractions at the show included a You Beaut Ute competition, karate demonstration and performances by the City of Orange Brass Band, as well as rides and sideshows.
Pavilion displays included needlework, jams and preserves, fruit and vegetables, craft, photography, art and dolls, as well as displays from Molong Central School, St Joseph's Central School and Molong Preschool.
Molong Show Society president Joy Campbell said proceeds would go toward improving the Molong Showground.
"Next year we hope to have an animal nursery and we are planning to renovate the sheep and goat pavilion," she said.
Mrs Campbell said attendance at this year's show was not something to worry about.
"A few years ago we were dropping off in numbers but it has improved over the last few years," she said.
"We could however, do with some more young people who are prepared to help organise the show."
