THANKS to the support of a dedicated band of workers sufficient repairs to the clubs facilities have been completed to allow the restart of shooting.
Ranges one and four, in addition to the air pistol range are now available for use by members.
Tomorrow centre fire/sports pistol will be shot on Range one.
Alternatively range four will be available at a reduced length of 40 metres for members wishing to practice or test pistols.
Remember shooters are asked to be on the line by 1.20pm for match start at 1.30pm. The gates and clubhouse will be open from 1pm.
After the rain this week the lower car park will not be open.
If the rain continues into the weekend members are advised the roof over range one is fully repaired, but unfortunately range four will be open air, pending erection of a new building.
Over the last few weeks a small number of members have taken advantage of the Wednesday night opening of the air pistol range.
New members and existing members are reminded that the club has available two air pistols for your use. Wednesday night shooting kicks off at 7.30pm with the range open from 7pm.
Members needing to use a club air pistol are asked to contact Maisie Harvey 6365 91747 or Garry McKay 6365 8734 any evening prior to Wednesday night to ensure pistol availability.
Anybody wishing to take up the sport of pistol shooting is invited to call out at the club on Wednesday nights or Saturday afternoons, where our members will be happy to answer your questions and assist you with joining.
Alternately interested persons can phone our president Roger Bond 6362 7105 or vice president Garry McKay 6365 8734 most evenings.
