The fire fighters were notified of the fire at 5.55am.
The car was destroyed and nearby goalposts were also damaged.
Fire fighters were also busy throughout the day and evening on Monday responding to false alarms as well as a bin fire at Maxwell Avenue at 4.51pm.

At 7.18pm they were called to a rubbish fire at the corner of Kite and Sale streets.
The firefighters were also called out during the storm on Boxing Day due to rain causing fire inductor panels to seize up at several locations including the new part of the Orange Regional Gallery.
