It wasn't so long ago that we saw the disgraceful and childish spectacle of our democratically elected local state Member Phil Donato being excluded at the official opening of important events.
Hopefully, those days are behind us.
What a stroke of genius on the part of Andrew Gee to appoint the Captain of Orange High to stand in for him when he was unable to attend because of COVID problems.
Hopefully, 2022 will see politicians on both sides of the fence working together for the betterment of the Orange community and respecting each other.
What an example that will set for all of us and especially for the younger members of our community.
