Being organised by Orange Uniting Church at its Anson Street hall, the lunch can take about another 10 bookings according to Fusion's development officer Bev Rankin.
Mrs Rankin said 80 people have put their name down for the traditional Christmas fare. While the number of people attending is almost at capacity, Mrs Rankin said she could use a few more hands to help prepare and serve the meals.
"We could use another half dozen or so," she said.
Most of the food, including the meat to be served and desserts, was being donated by Orange business with the lunch designed to help out those who are spending Christmas alone or under financial stress.
The lunch will be served at 12.30pm with people asked to be at the hall by 12.15pm.
Anyone keen to get a spot at the table, or interested in volunteering on the day is asked to call 6362 5788 and leave a message.
Bookings are essential.
