It is the first time the market has been held since last Christmas and close to 35 makers are selling their wares.
Gallery owner Madeline Young said the market was busy from the moment it opened on Thursday morning with people wanting to buy last-minute gifts.
She said many of her customers put off finishing their Christmas shopping so they could still get items from the market.
"The last time we did it was last Christmas but we were supposed to do it in August," Ms Young said.
However, that event had to be cancelled due to the COVID pandemic so it's been a year since the last market, which Ms Young said is the biggest event on her calendar.
"We used to do them three times a year but I think going forward we will do them twice a year, one in winter and one for Christmas," she said.
She said most of the makers came from Orange and the surrounding area but there are some from Holbrook, Kandos and Wagga Wagga and many of them have lost income after markets were cancelled across the state.
She said ceramics and jewellery were among the fastest selling items but there is also a wide range of clothing, homewares and even knives and now the sun is out people are also interested in the hats.
Ms Young said there is also a new book maker, as well as candles and gift boxes.
The market is running from 10am to 6pm on Friday and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
