Members of the pistol club, who arrived for an early start for the Christmas novelty shoot, and smorgasbord lunch, in the decorated clubhouse had a good start to the festive season. Christmas goodies were presented to the prize winners, and secretary Brian Johnson ran a free raffle for all club members - Garry McKay first, Djuro Cikaric, and Kevin Woolf.
Scores for 25m reversed targets, lowest score Roger Bond 33-100, Derek Wells 36, David Oates 38. Highest D Oates 84-100, D Cikaric 83, Roy Gennison 82.
50m balloons, D Wells 6-10, Peter Keegan 5, Mark Rutherford 4.
Metallic silhouettes, Belinda Howell 15-16, Brian Johnson 11-16, Clare Gall 8-16.
Rapid fire silhouette figure, Daniel Barresi (who made and painted the figures) 36-50, Kevin Woolf 29-50, Andrew Bond 25-50. Barresi was the top scorer overall on 180-100.
Helen Johnson took the highest-lowest score 59-100, and Maisie Harvey the lowest-highest. The president Roger Bond thanked all for the work put into the day, and wished all the club members a happy Christmas. The range will be open this Saturday for standard service pistol but will close on 21st and 28th December. The aim range will close on 11th December and reopen on 8th January 03.
