COVID-19 case numbers continue to rise across the Western NSW Local Health District, with 19 new infections on record in the reporting period to 8pm on Tuesday.

The Orange Local Government Area tallied seven of the overall cases, joined by six cases in the Bathurst LGA and three cases each in both the Dubbo and Mudgee areas.
WNSWLHD has issued a public health alert for a new venue of concern in Orange at the Ross Hill Wines location on Wallace Lane.
Positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed in attendance of the venue on Wednesday evening, December 8, between 5pm and 10pm.
Central West Gymsports also remains as a venue of concern from the days of December 9 from 5pm to 6pm and December 10 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
WNSWLHD has advised those in attendance of these venues within the listed timeframes should monitor for symptoms, present for testing and isolate if symptoms develop.
Drive-through testing for Orange residents will continue operating out of Wade Park and the Orange Showground from 8am to 4pm, with testing at Wade Park on Saturday, 8am to 11am.
The old Clancy Motors building in Bathurst will continue operating for testing in Howick Street between the same hours.
Those in Mudgee have been directed to phone (02) 6371 9700 to arrange appointments for testing.
Dubbo residents can access testing at the Dubbo Showground from 8am to 4pm.
Statewide, NSW has recorded 1360 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm on Tuesday.
This figure more than doubles in cases from the previous report, with an additional 536 cases announced; it is also the state's highest daily figure of new COVID-19 cases recorded since September 11.
The latest reporting period also includes 25 new cases of the Omicron variant. According to NSW Health, this brings the state's total of Omicron cases to 100.
One COVID-linked death has occurred, with 166 hospital cases receiving treatment for the virus and 24 cases in ICU.
Restrictions have officially lifted across NSW today, December 15.
Unvaccinated persons are included in the easing of restrictions and masks will no longer be required in shops, though will still be mandatory while commuting via public transport.
The first dose figure is at 94.8 per cent, with 93.2 per cent of adults 16+ fully vaccinated.
Figures for people aged 12-15 are at 81.4 per cent for one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine received and 77.8 per cent of people aged 12-15 have received two doses.
Testing figures are at 104,501 in the last 24-hour period to 8pm. This number has jumped by nearly 18,000 additional tests from the 24-hour report prior.
