The quartet of new infections are among five total for the entire Western NSW Local Health District - the other new case identified is in Bathurst.
The four new cases in Orange are household contacts of a previously known case.
There are no new cases of COVID-19 in either the Cabonne or Blayney Local Government Areas.
The new cases follow two consecutive days of zero new infections across the health district.
Across NSW, 212 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths were recorded.
The cases are an increase on the past two days which were both below 200 with 165 recorded yesterday and 195 the day prior.
The state's population aged over 16 years is 91.1 per cent fully vaccinated, while 94.2 per cent have had a single dose.
Those aged 12-15 years are 73.4 per cent fully vaccinated and 80.6 per cent have had their first dose.
There are 210 COVID-19 patients in hospital, with 32 in ICU.
There were 67,893 tests conducted in the past 24 hours which is up on the previous day's total of 50,453.
The Australian Medical Association vice-president Dr Chris Moy has warned GP clinics could pull out of the booster scheme due to lower payment levels from the federal government for doctors to administer the doses.
"It does risk the booster program," Dr Moy told AAP.
"There is certainly a lot of concern among colleagues."
Under the current scheme, GPs are able to receive about $30 to deliver the first vaccine dose and a further $24 for the second.
Clinics also receive about $10 on top of that from the commonwealth should a patient get both doses at the same clinic.
However, GPs participating in the vaccine rollout only receive the lower amount of about $24 for a booster shot.
