Orange's run of days without a positive case of COVID-19 being reported has stretched to eight, with no new cases identified in the reporting period to 8pm on Wednesday night.

The last time there was a new case in Orange was on October 27, when one new cases was reported.
Across the Western NSW Local Health District, there was seven. Six of those cases have popped up in Cowra, while the other is in Coolah.
There were no new cases reported in any of the Western NSW LHD's major centres - Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo - which is only the second time that's occurred since the initial Delta outbreak in Dubbo on August 11.
There were no new cases reported in Bathurst, despite 10 emerging the day before. There's also been no new cases identified in Blayney or Cabonne Local Government Areas.
Across NSW, 308 new locally-acquired COVID 19 cases and four deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm were recorded.
One new overseas-acquired case was also recorded.
The state has 88.7 per cent of its population aged over 16 years of age fully vaccinated, while 93.7 per cent have had a single dose.
There are 302 cases in hospital, while 64 are in ICU.
Yesterday 94,661 tests were conducted, which was down on the previous day's 114,303 tests.
NSW has kept COVID-19 new daily case numbers below 300 for a week, until today, but the premier warns this won't be sustained as the state opens up, with extensive new freedoms to kick in next week.
"The reality is case numbers will increase, hospitalisations will increase - we need to learn to live alongside this pandemic," Premier Dominic Perrottet said on Wednesday.
NSW has so far defied predictions that COVID cases and hospitalisations would soar as restrictions ease.
