A 24-year-old self-employed hairdresser has been convicted of high-range drink-driving in Orange Local Court.

Solicitor Rebecca Scott said Jaimee Hatton, of Summer Hill Creek, had been at Mount Canobolas on September 10 and planned to stay there overnight.
She said Hatton hit a wombat on the drive to the mountain and "she got quite emotional and upset and started drinking".
However, Ms Scott said a person Hatton was with got annoyed with her and persuaded her to drive home.
At 1.25am on September 11, police were following her north on Molong Road when they noticed she was not staying in her lane.
Hatton failed a breath test, was arrested and returned a high-range reading of 0.166.
Magistrate David Day fined her $1650, disqualified her licence for six months and placed her on a 24-month interlock order.
