Anyone tuned into breakfast television on Thursday morning may have spotted some familiar faces.
The team at Printhie Wines had been up since before 4am to welcome Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac and the camera team to the winery for a special broadcast, Emily Swift said.
"It's part of the Destination New South Wales campaign to promote regional travel... They chose us to host the morning weather show, which we were thrilled about. It was perfect weather too," she said.
"They've launched a new campaign called 'Feel New South Wales' this week [with the aim of] promoting regional areas. Now that Sydney is out of lockdown, Destination NSW is showcasing different spots across NSW to try and entice people out here to visit."
Printhie Wines' premium cellar door was picked to host the breakfast broadcast after Sunrise producers were shown shots of the location, the winery owner said.
"That was a highlight of the campaign - being on TV," Mrs Swift added.
"In general, they are promoting travel to visit cellar doors and to really just get out and support businesses that have been suffering through the shutdown."
