In 2022, scholarships will be more diverse and inclusive than ever before, with opportunities for almost every instrument, skill level and background.
New scholarships will offer more support for students experiencing financial difficulty, and of instruments that are less commonly learnt or may be more difficult to access lessons on.
Importantly, Orange Regional Conservatorium (ORC) scholarships are offered for all the music students of Orange who are under 21 years of age, meaning any student can apply who wishes to learn with, and be a part of the Conservatorium's welcoming and growing community.
Other scholarships on offer include all the regular junior and senior piano, string, guitar, drums, brass, wind and vocal categories, as well Indigenous student support, ensemble scholarships, and HSC student support.
A full list of available scholarships, their supporters and application forms is available on the ORC website or at the ORC admin office.
The ORC 2022 Music Scholarship applications open October 18 and will close on Friday, November 12, at 5pm. Auditions will be held on November 20.
