Jessica Lauren Williams, 28, of East Orange, was stopped while driving a Mitsubishi Triton north on Moulder Street at 11pm on August 14.
She told police she did not have a licence but when asked why she was driving she said, "I wanted to go out and get food."
Magistrate David Day convicted Williams in her absence and fined her $550 and disqualified her driver's licence for six months.
