The new stadium, or the site for which it will sit, is finally starting to take shape.
The machinery rolled into the old Country Club course last week and the trees that line the boundary have all but gone, by the looks of the photos printed in the Central Western Daily last week.
I was thrilled to see the progress. For too long we've been left behind by other, smaller country centres that have benefitted big time by having far superior facilities to Orange, a city of near 45,000 people.
This precinct is well placed, will be well designed and, importantly, well used to.
