The city bathed in a spring-like weekend, with tops of 16 and 17 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday respectively, the latter our warmest day of winter in 2021.
But winter will be back, with the mercury set to plummet come Tuesday.
A top of 5 degrees is predicted for Tuesday, with snow over 1100 metres, meaning Mount Canobolas will likely be hit with a snow shower. the Bureau of Meteorology is predicting those falls to be on Tuesday morning. As much as 25 millimetres of rain is on the radar, too.
There will be a top of 6 degrees on Wednesday, before double-digit top temperatures return on the weekend with a maximum of 12 on Saturday.
Rain-wise, Monday looks our wettest day, with a 90 per cent chance of rain. The BoM says anywhere between 10mm and 25mm is possible.
