The Orange Tigers junior players went to Dubbo on August 1.
Following updated health advice from NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant, stay-at-home orders will apply to all people who live in the Dubbo LGA or have been there on or after August 1.
The rules for this area will be the same as those already in place across Greater Sydney, as well as Tamworth, Northern Rivers, Armidale, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, Singleton, Dungog, Muswellbrook and Cessnock.
Everyone in these areas must stay at home unless they have a reasonable excuse to leave. They also cannot have social visitors in their home from outside their household, including family and friends.
It is unclear how this will impact the senior games this weekend, with some players and coaches having made the trip to Dubbo.
Tigers secretary Kass Ings said: "It's still a bit up in the air."
"This wipes out a lot of our committee, a lot of our helpers for this weekend for our senior games because a lot are junior parents.
"At the moment we could potentially still be playing Bathurst Bushrangers, but my concern is Bathurst played Dubbo last week." That game was played in Parkes.
All junior training is also cancelled until further notice.
Similar rules will apply to any other sporting teams who travelled to Dubbo within the timeframe. This means that the Parkes Cobras of the Western Premier League are now also under stay-at-home orders following their match with Macquarie on August 4.
