Orange Emus will head to Cowra for a Blowes Clothing Cup blockbuster

But according to Emus' fullback Jamil Khalfan, his personality will matter little when the two sides take the field on Saturday as the find-round fixture is set to decide the coveted minor premiership crown.

The Eagles skipper is set to play in his 100^th game on home soil, but Khalfan and his crew are set out to rain on his parade.

"He's a competitor on the field and a good friend off it, so congratulations to him," Khalfan said.

"These are the types of people that keep country rugby ticking. But, we're keen to spoil his day on Saturday."

If Cowra wants to finish the regular season on top, it won't simply require a win, but will need to knock off the premiers by a minimum of eight points, a feat that only Bulldogs have accomplished in 2021.

The last time these two sides met was at Wade Park when the red and whites turned a 12-3 deficit into a 12-all draw, announcing themselves as one of the real threats to dethrone Pete Bromley's men.

Since that match, Cowra has won three in-a-row and has stacks of momentum coming into round 15... but, so do Emus.

"Bromley and Campbell have us playing with a lot of confidence," he said.

"While we understand Cowra is a formidable opponent, we're ready to cap off an excellent season."

It's slated to be their third meeting of the season, but Khalfan doesn't expect it to be their last.

"We realise we could be playing these boys a few more times this season," he said.

"But, we also realise we have a long way to go before we work our way up to another premiership.

"We'll look to play with variety this weekend and build on the season we've put together so far."

Cowra will have an extra incentive to send Emus to the dog house this weekend with the club celebrating the 200th game of 100th game of Adam Meiklejohn, as well as the aforementioned Cummins milestone.

"Certainly for my 100th there would be nothing that would make me happier then the win," Cummins said.

"I've gone through the tougher times and it's great to see the club coming into a successful period and it's nice to be part of that."

While being excited for his 100th game he said he didn't want that overshadowing the job the side needed to do on Saturday.

"I'm excited to be playing with the group of blokes in the club at the moment, and regardless of whether that's my 100th game or any other game, I'm looking forward to it," he said.

"I'm pumped that I've been part of 100 games for the club but it's definitely that my mind is on winning this weekend and nothing else."
