For the calendar
Now that the Central West lockdown has ended, you need to plan ahead. There are businesses, communities and events aplenty eagerly awaiting your return. Search for events in the community and then start spreading your wings a little further each time to find at least one thing to do every weekend. Most communities have a what's on list so start by checking out council websites or simply googling "what's on [insert location here]".

This exhibition features paintings of imagined landscapes by Orange artist Josephine Jagger-Manners. The works are inspired by the springtime colours in the paddocks between Orange and Stuart Town, in particular the golden canola and regal Paterson's curse. Until September 4. Old and New Histories

Orange Regional Museum's new long-term exhibition, Inherit: old and new histories, brings together stories from across the Central West, exploring the region's history. It highlights big events and significant personalities, as well as the lives and experiences of everyday people. More than 100 objects have been collected to tell the stories that have shaped the past and present. Until September 5.
