Three Local Government Areas of Orange, Cabonne and Blayney were thrown into a snap lockdown last Wednesday, but have emerged unscathed with no new cases of community transmission. The lockdown ended at midnight on Tuesday, July 27.

"Accordingly, we will downgrade our Orange campus status to Alert Level 2," professor Germov said.

"This means we will resume classes and operations at our Orange campus and Bloomfield site from Wednesday, July 28 under pre-lockdown conditions."

He said staff required for face-to-face teaching or student support activities should attend Orange campus for these activities.

"Other staff should continue to work from home if it is reasonably practicable to do so," he added.

"Students at our Orange campus and Bloomfield site will resume face-to-face learning where they are enrolled in on-campus subjects. Health declarations are mandatory for all on-campus students at all of the University's campuses and must be submitted by students every Monday before they enter campus."

Residential/intensive schools for the faculties of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences, and Arts and Education have been transitioned to online.

The Faculty of Science and Health continues to work through each subject as a matter of priority, to determine how best to manage progression.

Anyone who has been in the Orange, Cabonne or Blayney local government areas may again attend our campuses from Wednesday, July 28.
