Blue Heelers' success has become somewhat of an inevitability in recent seasons and on Saturday at Cargo Oval, the powerhouse will look to move to 10-1 as a round eight loss to Grenfell remains the only blemish on their record.
But, the victory won't come easily as Canowindra has quietly put together a respectable campaign, the Tigers holding down third spot with six wins.
"They're going well and they put it to us the last time we played them," coach Anthony Regan said. They were on top of the ladder early in the season."

While Regan's side certainly has a third consecutive Woodbridge Cup crown in their sights, the focus is still on improvement as numbers were scarce at the start of the winter.
"It's been a difficult season for us, but we're slowly starting to put some games together," he said.
"We lost about six girls at the start of the year. We're just trying to build towards the bigger games at the end of the year."
The aim for Cargo is to capture the minor premiership as Grenfell sits above them with an undefeated record.
The Heelers will have the chance to avenge a round eight loss to the Goannas in round 17.
