Police say three men from western Sydney have been issued with infringement notices and sent back to the city after they were found to be in the Oberon district in breach of COVID-19 restrictions.

Police say the men from Merrylands and Auburn - two aged 21 and one aged 23 - attended Jenolan Caves at about 4.30pm on Friday and tried to buy tickets for a tour.
Police say that when the three men were asked why they had travelled to the Oberon district, they said they were bored.
They were each issued with $1000 penalty infringement notices and directed to return to Sydney.
In a separate incident, police say four people were each issued with $1000 penalty infringement notices on Saturday after being stopped by Chifley Highway Patrol at Little Hartley, about 150km west of their home in Maroubra.
Officers stopped the group - two women aged 23 and 25, and two men aged 25 - on the Great Western Highway about 9am.
Police say all four were directed to return to Sydney.
